My son woke up ridiculously early today and so when 7 a.m. rolled around and he was already showing signs of fatigue, I decided a brisk morning run would do us both some good. I loaded him up in the jog stroller and within minutes he was out and I was in my zone.
Until an incredibly loud talker started running behind me. I sped up, she sped up. I fretted that my son would wake up. I slowed down.
She and her running partner started running along side of us, never stopping to take a breath about her geo-tech project. Really?
My son was stirring, so I sped up again. And guess what? They sped up with me, the volume of their conversation increasing steadily. My son woke up. Now two people were screaming.
She gave me a dirty look. I controlled my urge to drive my stoller into her leg. Instead I sped up as fast as I could to get my now screaming child home. So much for my zen run or my son’s nap. I’m thinking of making a jog stroller sign, “Quiet. Baby Onboard” and am open to other suggestions!

next time try pulling over for a stretch or if you know the route than take a small side route if you were really going just at the same pace then you should ditch them if you do come in contact with them a finger pointing at your child and then across your lips should do the trick and if they ignore you parting ways again or stopping again may be necessary or you could just ram them with your stroller and go as fast as you can while they pause to call the cops and press assault charges I guess it depends on how fast you really are at running
